Sometimes the best views come after the longest drives.
What?
On a 10-day road trip through northern Italy in a VW van, I captured some impressions of the landscapes, towns, and spontaneous roadside moments. A personal highlight was visiting the stunning “Lago di Braies” (Pragser Wildsee) in the Dolomites.
Learnings.
Travel photography taught me to stay flexible and always have my camera ready – the most interesting shots often happened unexpectedly. I practiced shooting in changing light conditions and worked on improving my landscape compositions, especially when dealing with strong contrasts and wide scenes.
